Jasen Nemeti the 2009 King of the Kickboats and Angler of the Year
The 2010 Kickboat Bass Classic was held at the river section of Boskop Dam near Potchesfstroom on Saturday 6th February and was won by Jasen Nemeti who also won a certificate for the biggest fish of the day and also the prestigious titles of Angler of the Year and King of the Kickboats. He took home an Xplorer XPT II pontoon boat from Jandis Trading and a 2009 King of the Kickboats trophy for 1st place and for being Angler of the Year he also received a R3,000 tyre voucher from Bridgestone Tyres.
In second place was Danny Creigh-Smith who won an awesome 6'6" Medium/Heavy Deep South Worm/Jig rod which was sponsored by Bassing.co.za. Third place was taken by Nico Mathee who 2 nights free accommodation at Nabana Lodge near Hazyview in Mpumalanga.
All of the finalists of the 2010 Kickboat Bass Classic were given a certificate and received a T-shirt, an Intruder Baits crankbait and a 20% off voucher from Lunker Bay Tackle and packs of soft plastics from Culprit Lures.

A total of over 100 competitors fished the 2009 Kickboat Bass Challenge Series and the top 15 positions were filled by the 18 anglers who were able to bag the biggest overall weight of bass throughout the year. For a list of who qualified and their weights for the 2009 Series click here.
